Aren
Shows large employers why their people really leave, and which retention initiatives give the best return for the money spent.
Losing experienced staff is among the most expensive problems a large organisation faces, and the causes are rarely the obvious ones. Aren finds them, then tests the fix before you fund it.
What it is
Aren helps large employers understand why their people leave — and, crucially, what to do about it.
Rather than simply flagging who might go, it draws together many different sources of information — pay and reward, work-life balance, location, attitude surveys and more — to reveal the real drivers behind why particular groups of staff decide to leave.
Built on the Nisus causal engine, the current version has learned from ten years of anonymised workforce history for a major client. That lets leaders answer “what if” questions with confidence: they can test a proposed retention initiative — a pay change, a flexible-working policy, a new career pathway — and see the likely effect before committing budget, and can model how the workforce will evolve over a ten-year horizon.
Aren is already deployed and running on the client’s own servers, and can be readily reconfigured to explore other questions such as workforce balance and recruitment.
Real-world examples
